Product Review:Our seabuckthorn  seed originates from Zhangxian county which is the main place of natural and wild seabuckthorn in China.

Product Details:Seeds obliquely ovate, ca. 4 mm long and ca. 2 mm wide; surface brown, lustrous, longitudinally canaliculated (single) in the middle; testa solid, kernel milky-white, oily. Odour, slight; taste, acerb; nature, warm.

Seabuckthorn with seed oil 10% -12% and pulp oil 14% -18% is a very good raw material for extracting seabuckthorn oil.

Functions:The seed has fatty acids, such as palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid. Non-saponified substances include zeaxanthin, cryptoxanthin, alpha-, gamma-, and δ-carotenes, sitosterol, β-sitosterol can-of β -D-glucoside, and phosphatide. The peel has serotonin and glucofrangulin. The leaf has ascorbic acid, dehydroascorbic acid, isorhamnetin, and carotene. The root bark has alkaloids, and the root nodule contains hemin.

The medicinal value for sea-buckthorn seeds: Sea-buckthorn seed contains vitamins A, C, F, B1, B2, B12, K, folic acid, flavonoids, proteins, many amino acids, fat, fatty acids, saccharides, minerals, and trace elements.
